Role Fit

Where I can contribute now

My background spans risk leadership, investment management, quantitative finance, and analytical-system design. I am actively open to a senior employed role — permanent or interim — as well as fractional, advisory, and special-situation mandates where that combination is useful.

Role families, forms of engagement, location and working model, and the documents a recruiter needs — set out directly.

My most recent technical evidence is EVA: a substantial pre-commercial event-intelligence, risk-analysis and decision-system estate that I conceived, specified, directed, tested and repeatedly challenged over roughly eighteen months. It demonstrates the ability to move from a difficult domain problem to explicit architecture, implemented software, verification and executive explanation. My strongest contribution is as systems architect, financial-domain authority, technical director and independent challenger, working with engineering teams. The technical account is here.

Three primary lanes

Recruiters search by title, so these are named concretely.

1 · Risk and investment leadership

Chief Risk Officer, Head of Risk, market risk, investment and portfolio risk, and special-situation risk leadership.

2 · Quantitative and risk-technology leadership

Risk analytics, quantitative research, financial decision systems, model challenge and risk-technology architecture.

3 · Independent strategic assignments

Interim or fractional CRO, independent review, investigations, consulting-expert support and board advisory.

Hybrid roles are particularly relevant where more than one of these capabilities is required.

Forms of engagement

Any of the following, depending on the situation:

PermanentExecutive or senior specialist
InterimTransformation or turnaround leadership
FractionalOutsourced risk leadership
AdvisoryAdvisory or project mandate
BoardBoard or investment-committee support

This range is deliberate: I am not signalling interest only in a conventional full-time CRO role, nor only in consulting.

Location and working model

Based in Bangkok, with substantial experience in New York, Tokyo, London, and Los Angeles. Available for international, Asia-focused, remote, hybrid, and travel-based work, subject to role requirements. Two hours from Singapore; working hours overlap Asia, the Gulf, and Europe, with US overlap by arrangement.

Documents

The always-current source is the career record on this site. Three targeted résumés are below, plus the full record. If your search does not match any of the three, send the mandate and I will send the right one.
